Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou in Beaumont Puy De Domme in France was born on the 9th of August in 1976. Audrey was the oldest child in a family of four. Her parents, who are a dental doctor and a school teacher helped and encouraged her initial passion for drama and theatre. She initially hoped to become a master monkey was replaced by a desire to study theater and drama. The rise was swift for her to be a famous young actor. Her career began in earnest at the age of 1999 after which she began acting professionally. Following her studies Tautou took part in the French television show for talent scouting called Jeunes Premiers. Tautou went to church and Institut Catholique de Paris during her youth, however she has since gotten rid of the aforementioned societal influences. In addition to her acting career she also pursued a modelling career. It is her turn to be the spokesperson for L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and is often referred to as The Chanel Muse. Also, she has an intense passion for photography. She recently produced an exhibition of her work at the Arles Festival, titled Superficial. The majority of her photography is focused on celebrity and fame, and turns the camera on the journalists who scrutinised her following her sudden rise to stardom in the film Amelie as well as self-portraits. Audrey Tautou shot to stardom and international fame with her first big role, starring as a lead character in Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulain. Amelie was an international box-office success, and received accolades during awards ceremonies across the world. It's the most-grossing French film to be released in the United States. In the wake of this achievement, Tautou was featured in a wide range of film productions ranging including British dramatics like Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things to Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Long Sunday of fiancailles. She then moved to Hollywood under the direction of Ron Howard of The Da Vinci Code, a Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code alongside Tom Hanks.
