Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born June 13th 1962) is an American actor from the United States. After her 1983 debut film Bad Boys, Sheedy became one of the Brat pack group consisting of actors. She was in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985), Short Circuit (1986), and WarGames. Sheedy received an Independent Spirit Award Best Female Actress for her part in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy is an American actress and an author. Her film career began beginning in the early 1980s, with the crime-drama film Bad Boys, for which she earned a lot of applause. The film was directed by Rick Rosenthal, other well-known actors such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown as well as Alan Ruck also appeared. In the following film after her debut, she appeared in 1985's comedy drama film The Breakfast Club. The film of John Hughes, The Breakfast Club is considered as being among the high school cinema's best films. It was produced for only $1,000,000 but it grossed more than 50 million dollars. While she was doing this, her debut on television came in the form of CBS Schoolbreak. From April 1980 it was an adolescent program. Also, she appeared on various TV series such as Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues. In Little Sister she makes a guest appearance. She also appears as a character in X-Men Apocalypse a superhero film in which her role is an appearance in a small part. Sheedy received numerous awards in 2005 due to her performances. She also was honored with the MTV Movie Award, Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
